Why an "error file" message occurred during an AOA backup project attempt ?

The goal of this article is is to explain an issue meet on Ecostruxure Augmented Operator Advisor during a project builder backup attempt.

The error message displayed is :


This message may occured when some file names used double-byte characters (Chinese, Japanese or Russian languages).

Double-bytes charaters may exceed the maximum name lenght and raise this error message.

Schneider Electric recommand to avoid double-byte characters.
