Issue
When opening Web Reporter in IONE 6.0 , the user receives the following message:

Cookies not enabled




Cause

This message can be displayed when there is a '_' underscore in the machine name/computer name.


Workaround

Important This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.

For ION 6.0 ONLY

- Click on Start> Run
- Type in Regedit
- Go to the following path for 32 bit machines HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Schneider Electric\ION Enterprise\ 6.0
- For 64 bit machines go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Schneider Electric\ION Enterprise\ 6.0
- Change the value of the registry key 'PrimaryMachine' located in the 6.0 root directory to use the IP address instead of machine name

For ION 6.0 SP1 ONLY

- Click on Start> Run
- Type in Regedit
- Go to the following path for 32 bit machines HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Schneider Electric\ION Enterprise\ 6.0
- For 64 bit machines go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Schneider Electric\ION Enterprise\ 6.0
- Change the value of the registry key 'ReportServer' located in the 6.0 root directory to use the IP address instead of machine name
