There is no such rating for Transformers as ``fire pump rated``. Rather, the specifying consulting engineer, or engineer of record for the job, selects The transformer based on the specific application requirements for the fire pump, using standard Low Voltage General Purpose (LVGP) dry type Distribution Transformers, which includes K-rated, Drive Isolation, and other types of LVGP Transformers.
