Product Line:
PowerPacT Circuit Breakers
Resolution:
Most of the parts needed for field installation of an MMS switch come in the respective MMS kits. However, since MMS utilizes ZSI for its use, a standard trip unit must be replaced with an advanced trip unit. The most basic trip unit that can be used for MMS is a 5.0A. 6.0 (ground fault) trip units can also be used, as can P (power) and H (harmonic) trip units. Below are the available part numbers for trip units that can be used for MMS:
These trip units also require a 12 pin terminal block for connections across the top. This is part number S33100.
All of the remaining parts are included in the MMS kits. There are two options for the kit, LV429658 for 24 Vdc control power or LV429659 for 120 Vac control power.
