How do I create a continuos trigger in Concept IEC FBD?


One example of a constant trigger is shown below:

The value on the PT input will determine how often the Boolean output 'Two_Sec_Pulse' is fired.
If you wish to have control over when to start and stop this triggering logic then the logic can be modified to include a control input 'Start_Pulser'.
Note: The trigger outputs of these two circuits is going to come for one PLC scan only so it may be hard to see the outputs change state when logic is animated. To see the output being triggered then a CTU can be added to count the times the output changes state.

Although this logic was written in Concept, similar logic can be used in a Unity Pro application.
