Issue:
How to add the catch on the fly feature to an ATV630 and ATV930
Product line:
Altivar Process 630 and 930
Cause:
Catch on the fly detects a spinning load and picks up control from that speed. Disabled, the drive will start from zero speed.
Resolution:
The ATV600 and ATV900 series both have a Catch on the Fly option.
ATV600 series: this parameter is enabled by default
ATV900 series: this parameter is disabled by default
Go to Complete Settings > Error/Warning Handling > Catch on the Fly > Catch on the Fly to adjust this parameter.
