Power Meter Communication issue, registers not reading the correct value.
Issue:
End user reads a modbus register and is getting a value other than what is expected

Product:
PowerLogic and ION meters

Environment:
Modbus Registers

Cause:
The Power meters, based on the manufacturing location, may have an offset.

In some meters the registers start from Zero and others may start from 1. So, the published register list varies accordingly.

Example: If Register 2017 is for Frequency of the meters it will read 60HZ.
But for the meter with offset the Register 2016 will read 60HZ.

Resolution:
Check the Modbus Register List for the specific meter you are trying to read for any indication that the registers have an offset. If it does you will need to shift the register by that offset to read the correct register.
