Tesys LE Starter - Noise Problem

Starters can be noisy due to following reasons:

(1) broken shading coil in contactor
(2) inadequate control voltage
(3) misalignment between the Armature and the Magnet Assembly (Armature is unable to seat properly)
(4) dirt, rust, filing etc., on the Magnet Pole Faces (Armature is unable to seat properly)
(5) jamming or binding of moving parts (contacts, springs, guides, yoke bars) so that full travel of the armature is prevented.

If this is an old starter, we recommend to get it opened and get the contactor checked/serviced as dust accumulation could be the reason for this noisy sound.

Note: If you are not qualified or does not have any experience with our starters, kindly contact your electrician for safety purposes.
