Cause

Not all meters use the same templates or have the same default measurement maps for onboard logging

Some meters do not have the capability of onboard logging

Resolution

  • Please find the attached excel document to identify the default logged measurements sorted by device type
    • Set "Logged by Default" to Yes
    • Select the device type you wish to inquire
    • Use the "Row Label" section to view the default measurements

NOTE * If the "Row Labels" portion of the document is blank when "Logged by Default" is set you yes, then the meter does not have onboard logging capabilities and software logging must be configured

Please use article: How to setup PC based logging in the ION Enterprise VIP when a device does not have onboard logging capability. | Schneider Electric USA to help.
