Why do some columns disappear from the tables created in EcoStruxure Machine SCADA Expert?

1.Issue:

Why some table columns disappear in EcoStruxure Machine SCADA Expert?

2. Product Line:

EcoStruxure Machine SCADA Expert
Harmony P6
Harmony iPC
Box iPC
Harmony GTU Open Box

3. Resolution:

Sometimes when we drag a column to the left and save the project, the column will disappear completely. The column is just not retracted it completely disappears and we cannot drag them to the right to increase the width. To solve the previous issue, we need to do the following:

With the program closed -> Follow the next path: C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\EcoStruxure Machine Scada Expert 2020/ProgramSettings.ini. -> Open the file "programsettings.ini" with a text editor -> Locate the section with the problem "[Conf.sched.sch]" -> Then in the following lines under this section, we look for the desired column width and we modify it -> We save the file and check the change on EMSE.

EMSE no column

EMSE project settings text file

EMSE project settings width change

EMSE column reappeared

If your file has extra lines of code compared to mine from the images, just ignore them. In case the column name does not appear, let's say you can't find the coumn "Disable=", please try typing it in the text file and then save.

If the above does not solve the problem, a reinstallation of EcoStruxure Machine SCADA Expert will be the next thing to try.
