When the charge/discharge flag on the Masterpact NT/NW breakers shows OK with a line through it, what does it indicate?
Issue:
On a MasterPact NT NW the charge and discharge button normally shows either charged or discharged. What does the OK with a line through it indication mean?
Product Line:
Masterpact NT NW
Resolution:
When the charge indicator shows "Charge Not OK", the breaker contacts are open and the charged spring is inhibited for some reason. This reason must be cleared before the breaker can be closed. The status indicator may indicate this for multiple reasons:
UVR not energized
Shunt trip that is energized
Padlock attachment pulled out or not aligned (try loosening the cover or taking it off to realign the attachment)
Push to Open button is partially depressed
