What would cause an INF3 fault on the ATV630 drive after you have updated the MCB firmware from version 1.3 to version 1.5?

Issue:
INF3 fault cause on the ATV630 drive after you have updated the MCB firmware from version 1.3 to version 1.5.

Product Line:
Altivar ATV630

Environment:
All

Cause:
Firmware was updated and now they are getting an INF3 fault.

Resolution:
If the Main control board had been flashed on a different size drive HP and voltage  and you put the MCB on another drive not matching that HP and voltage it will trigger a INF3 fault.

Fix:  Replace the MCB with a brand new MCB. If you need to flash the main control board make sure its flashed on the same HP and voltage as the drive its going to be used on.
