Can I have "gray" products with PV < 25
Gray CPUs means necessarily PV>=25 ( except for satefy modules which will stay red)..
Are the "white" CPUs going to phased out and only "gray" CPUs will be sold? When will this transition happen?
Yes, white CPUs are phased out. Transition has already started.
Can my white CPU be certified 62443-4-2 later on ?
No. This certification requires electronic components which are not implemented on products with PV<25, so, white CPU cannot be certified.
Can I move the SD card from V2.xx to V4.01 CPU, and start in RUN mode without connecting Control Expert and downloading the application?
Yes it is feasible.
Is-it possible to upgrade directly an existing V2.xx version to a V4.01?
It will be the same process as for V3.20, you will first have to upgrade to V3.99. A dedicated note explaining the upgrade process is attached to this FAQ.
