ATV312 for a fallback speed configuration in the event of a loss of the 4-20mA speed reference signal
Product Line:
ATV31 and ATV312 drives
Environment:
All
Cause:
NA
Resolution:
Yes. In the FLt menu, program LFL to LFF and then set LFF to the desired fall back speed in Hz.
Important note:
The fallback speed will take precedence, regardless of whether you are currently using the 4-20mA signal for speed control.
For example, if you are currently controlling speed with a potentiometer on AI1, and your 4-20mA signal drops on AI3, the drive will use the fallback speed even though you're currently not using the 4-20mA signal. Therefore, if you are not currently using the 4-20mA signal for speed control, you may want to set LFL to 'no', which will ignore 4-20mA signal loss.
Details on these parameters are found in the ATV312 Programming Manual on page 96.
