Why will my enclosed altivar drive package with damper control not start?

Issue:
His enclosed altivar drive package with damper control, will not start.

Drive packages with damper control option included

Cause:
Information unavailable in current literature.

Resolution:
On any enclosed drive packages with Damper control, there will be terminals to connect a damper end switch.  This is a switch on the damper itself that closes when the damper is fully open.  If this connection is open, the drive will not be allowed to start in hand or auto mode.  If your system has damper control built in, but you will not be using a damper, or if your damper is not equipped with an end switch, the "damper end switch" terminals in the enclosed drive package must be jumpered to allow the drive to run.
