Issue:
Where do you land run command wires on the AC Drives, and can you have more than one?
Product Line:
Altivar Drive, Process Drive
Environment:
All models and serial numbers
Cause:
None
Resolution:
These drives only have a single run command terminal. Logic input 1 (LI1) is the default run forward input when operating in 2-wire terminal control, and it cannot be changed. When in 3-wire control, LI2 is the run forward input, and it cannot be changed. The Run command can also come from Communications (Modbus, CANOpen, Ethernet, etc.) or the run button on the keypad can be used to run the motor when in HMI (keypad) control.
