Issue:
After installing the PowerChute Network Shutdown version 4.4.2, 4.4.3, &5.x ova onto a standalone ESXi host, the web page is not accessible.

Product Line:
PowerChute Network Shutdown

Environment:
PowerChute Network Shutdown version 4.4.2, 4.4.3, & 5.x installed on VMware standalone ESXi host.

Cause:
Change to security settings.

Solution:
  1. Log in to the PowerChute virtual machine as root Login to PowerChute VM
  2. Run the command systemctl enable PowerChute to enable PowerChute to start when the VM is powered on.
  3. Next, run the command systemctl start PowerChute to start the PowerChute service.
  4. Next run the command systemctl status PowerChute to verify PowerChute service has started. Enable and start the PowerChute service
  5. Next open a web browser and navigate to the PowerChute web page. Example https://10.0.0.246:6547
The web page will launch, and you will be asked to set the PowerChute client up.
