Right click on the protected DFB name in the Project Browser and go to <Properties>.
Double click on the Value field for Protection.  You will be presented with a drop down menu.
Change the Value to 'None'.  You will be prompted for the password.
You can now edit the DFB.  This can be done offline or online.
