  • ISX or StruxureWare Operations - All Versions
  • All serial numbers

Cause

APC has identified a problem that causes the Physical Layout or StruxureWare Central Operations to display the incorrect Kilowatt (kW) value. The Metered (AP78XX) and Switched (AP79XX) Rack PDU's as well as Inline Current Meters (AP7155, AP7175) that have 3.X.X firmware report their voltage and load to the ISX Manager or StruxureWare Central via SNMP, which displays the kW value through the Physical Layout or StruxureWare Operations tool. The problem that occurs stems from the Metered/or Switched Rack PDU and inline current meters reporting incorrect voltage. PDUs that operate on voltages, such as 208, 230, and 240 volts, will actually report 120 volts. This causes the kW value to appear "half" of its true value.

Resolution

With rpdu revision 3.7.4 and higher, these values can now be changed via the web UI on your device. Alternatively, these values can be changed via SNMP on most prior rpdu APP revisions. If you are experiencing this issue and need help fixing these values, please contact APC for assistance.
