This document explains the difference between the Maximum Input Current and the Input Breaker Capacity in the SUVT systems.
The SUVT consists of a Power Module that has the bypass incorporated into it. The Maximum Input Current can vary from UPS to UPS, but with the SUVT this will be specified as the maximum input current limit that can be drawn at low mains and charging batteries.
The Input Breaker Capacity is always a larger value than the Maximum Input Current, this is to avoid nuisance tripping and also allows the System to go into bypass mode in overload or in the event of load fault conditions. The System can withstand an overload of 125% for 30 seconds when on mains or 110% continuous.
