Power SCADA Operation: Why is the * symbol next to an Alarm server process in the Runtime Manager?

Issue
It is observed that an asterisk (*) symbol is next to an Alarm server process in the Runtime Manager window, what it signifies?

Environment

Power SCADA Expert (PSE)
Power SCADA Operation (PSO)

EcoStruxure Power Operation (EPO) 2021

Answer
The * symbol against ‘Alarm Process’ in Runtime Manager UI indicates that the alarm server is operating in Extended Memory mode (64-bit).

This allows the alarm server process to utilize memory beyond a 4GB limit. It does this by running the alarm process in 64 bit.

Running in Extended Memory Mode is required for Native Notifications to function.

If it is not enabled in my project, then how do I enable it?
To enable this mode of operation, you need to set the alarm server's Extended Memory property to ‘TRUE’ in Power Operation Studio by navigating to Topology > Edit > Alarm Servers as per below screen-cap.
