The Model 6 Motor Control Center motor starter unit was started and it would not hold in what should I do? Common startup issues for motor starter units with Tesys T overloads

Scenario: All the terminations are complete and when the motor was started the starter would not "hold in". In this scenario, if the starter does not "hold in" meaning that the Over Current Protective Device (OCPD) trips or the Starter Overload Trips, try the following steps for resolution.
The attached document (M6MCC-Starters-Tesys T-TroubleShooting-Guide-V2_1) will help guide you through the steps to ensure proper settings for the OCPD and the Tesys T overload have been set. Use of this document may save time prior to contacting Schneider Electric Square D for assistance.
NOTE: Prior to performing any changes in the equipment settings, ensure all electrical safety precautions and electrical safe work practices are followed. Schneider Electric always promotes working on de-energized equipment whenever possible.
