Resolution:
The S6 requires constant 230VAC to terminals CL1 (hot) and CL2 (neutral).

Connect a jumper from Terminal LI1 to LI2.
Close a dry contact between Terminals 24V and LI2 for a run Forward.  Open this connection for a freewheel stop.

For a controlled stop, do not jumper LI1 to LI2. Instead, jumper 24V to LI1 and wire dry contact between 24V and LI2. Program SEt - dEC = ramp down time.

Reference the User manual # BBV51330 or the Quick Start Annex # S1A14738 for more information.
