What replaced XPSAPF and what are the differences between old and new?
XPSAPF has 2 potential replacements depending on how many safety outputs are required. If you are using more than 3 safety outputs, please refer to FA141633 which replaces XPSAPF with XPSAR. If you are using 3 or less safety outputs, please see the following:
The XPSAPF safety modules (When using 3 or less safety outputs) were initially replaced by the XPSAK. These have since been replaced by the XPSUAK as part of the consolidation of the XPS range.
There are two PDFs attached to this FAQ - one shows the change in wiring schemes from XPSAPF to XPSAK, the other shows the change in wiring schemes from XPSAK to XPSUAK.
Please note - if you are swapping from the original XPSAPF to XPSUAK, you will need to firstly compare wiring diagrams for XPSAPF to XPSAK, then do the same for XPSAK to XPSUAK. This is to avoid potential wiring issues.
