How can I use and cable the LO1 logic output of the ATS01?

Output LO1 is an open collector NPN logic output.

The power supply for this output must be provided by an external source (24 VDC, min. 6 V, max. 30 V, max. current 200 mA).

Wiring

  • Connect the +24 VDC terminal on the external power supply to the load (plug-in relay or control relay, for example).
  • Connect the second load terminal to the LO1 terminal on the ATS.
  • Connect the COM terminal on the ATS to the 0 VDC on the external power supply.

Warning
If the load is inductive, use a freewheel diode on the load.
