The basic steps to perform in your program for the Global Data service is to assign a Global Data multicast IP address/Group Name in the Network properties section and configure the global variables properties.
For your Global Data variable you need to select either to PUB (publish) or SUB (subscribe), assigned a Group Name (setup in the network properties section) and enter a unique ID number. (see page 122). The Global Data protocol is a Schneider Electric proprietary capability.
