Issue:
When running, the output Hz is displayed, but there is a flashing L before it.
Product Line:
Altivar 212 ATV212 S-Flex
Environment:
All models
Cause:
N/A
Resolution:
The flashing L is an alarm indicating that the motor overload timer has reached or exceeded 50% of it's detected fault level. Typically this is a pre-alarm that will eventually trip OL2, motor overload. Parameter tHr is the overload amp threshold and should typically be set to motor FLA. Monitor the motor amps in Monitoring Mode, Cxxx (xxx is amp numerical value). If a parameter correction is made, the L may continue to flash until the thermal memory clears the overload conditions.
