What current rating of fuse is required to protect the power supply on the PM700 and PM800 range of panel meters?
The auxiliary power supply for the PM700 range of power meters has a voltage rating and consumption of :-
100 - 415V +/-10% AC, 5VA.
125 - 250 +/-20% DC, 3W.
E.g 5VA = 0.02A However we dont offer a device at this rating so we would advise using a 2A mcb.
The auxiliary power supply for the PM800 range of power meters has a voltage rating and consumption of :-
100 - 415V +/-10% AC, 15VA with options.
125 - 250 +/-20% DC, 10W with options.
E.g 15VA = 0.06A However we dont offer a device at this rating so we would advise using a 2A mcb.
Therefore, the fuse rating will depend on how many meters are supplied ,and the size of the cable used to feed them.
