Our Business Continuity Plan (BCP) has been tested and implemented in geographies impacted. This plan includes health and safety, supply chain, lifecycle management services, and IT infrastructure.
Schneider Electric operations meet the criteria of an essential critical infrastructure as defined by most governments. While we do not anticipate interruptions to our operations, local governments may require temporary containment measures. In these cases, we comply with local laws, and in most cases seek support from local authorities to maintain critical business operations as an essential business for our communities.
Given the current situation, Schneider Electric is requesting support from our suppliers with the following:
- During this period, please continue all deliveries to our sites based on our orders. We will have people to receive them.
- Send your invoices/credit notes in digital format only (PDF).
Thank you for your collaboration during these exceptional times.
Should you have questions please contact your local Schneider Electric Procurement Representative.

Supplier Review Process
The Schneider Electric Supplier database is used as a supplier reference system by the purchasing department to identify potential suppliers.
Perspective suppliers will be required to successfully complete Schneider Electric’s internal Supplier Auditing process. Our Supplier Development team reviews all suppliers’ operations: financial status indicators, operational product performance and service capabilities and, if applicable, verifying your business’ diversity and/or small business status. Perspective suppliers must agree to and operate under Schneider Electric’s recognized guidelines including but not limited to:
Supplier Registration
Schneider Electric understands corporate and ethical business responsibilities include investing in the communities it serves to enhance their economic, environmental and social well-being. Just as Schneider Electric's global operations strive to contribute to the quality of life in its host communities, the company's long-term success depends on community support and partner suppliers for its operations, products and services.
By completing the profile, you acknowledge Schneider Electric’s confidentiality agreement and the Prospective Supplier Review Process.
Supplier Registration
Next Steps
Once the registration process is complete, your company will be included in our supplier database and your company information will be available to our purchasing community. If it is determined that your business is to be included in a bidding process, you will be contacted. However, a completed registration in our database is not a promise or guarantee of a contractual agreement, nor does it automatically place your company information on bid lists.
Potential suppliers may be asked to participate in reverse auctions, requests for information, requests for quotes, request for proposals, and other forms of purchases. Suppliers must meet Schneider Electric’s product and/or service requirements to be considered.
As Schneider Electric continues its journey, we continue to embrace what uniqueness brings to our business.
