The Environmental Data Program categorizes and measures product environmental attributes and footprints. Building upon the Green Premium Program, it employs a data-based methodology to provide comprehensive environmental data attributes for Schneider commercial references.
The Environmental Data Program covers critical information, including carbon footprints, recycled materials, energy efficiency, and end-of-life recycling options. Expanding upon the 5 attributes previously offered, this enhanced dataset now reports on 30 attributes, offering a significantly broader understanding of a product’s environmental impact.
120,000 commercial references are available online, with at least 14 attributes available at the end of 2025, representing 80% of product turnover.

The Environmental Data Program includes five data categories, each corresponding to a product lifecycle stage. With over thirty data points with tooltips, you can easily understand the Environmental Data Program and make informed decisions.
The Environmental Data Program empowers you to make data-based decisions leveraging reliable and granular lifecycle-related product environmental data points. Schneider Electric is exploring additional environmental attributes to address evolving customer needs, including metrics on biodiversity impact, material sourcing, and product longevity. These efforts reflect the company’s conviction that transparency extends beyond compliance—it is about driving meaningful change across the entire value chain.
Additionally, Schneider Electric intends to strengthen its collaboration with industry partners, regulators, and customers to develop standardized methodologies and best practices for environmental reporting. The aim is to simplify data integration across industries, making it easier for businesses to achieve their sustainability objectives.
