APC How Edge Computing is Enabling the Future | Report

The “How Edge Computing is Enabling the Future” report is based on a survey conducted by TEAM LEWIS Research on behalf of Schneider Electric. This research explored IT decision makers’ (ITDMs) familiarity with edge computing, adoption and use of edge computing, benefits and challenges of edge computing, impactful applications across industries, and forward-looking applications of edge computing in the manufacturing, healthcare, and higher education verticals. This research also sought to identify trends across key verticals and demographics. The findings detailed in this report are based on data collected in the study which consisted of 1,150 total responses from ITDMs in the United States in the Manufacturing, Healthcare, or Higher Education industries from May 31, 2023 to June 13, 2023 with a margin of error of +/- 2.8 percentage points.
