Maintenance Mode Switch (MMS) Installation Instructions

The maintenance mode setting (MMS) switch is designed to temporarily reduce the short-time delay setting of the circuit breaker where MMS is installed. ZSI cannot be applied for short-time on the same circuit breaker. Either solution (ZSI or MMS) meets the National Electrical Code (NEC) 240.87 requirements for arc flash reduction.
