SYMAX Protocol PCMCIA for Micro/Premium - Manual A new third party PCMCIA card is available for Premium and Micro that enables them to communicate using the SyMAX protocol over RS-232 or RS-485. This manual describes the capabilities and how to install the network. The SYMAX capability requires this third party PCMCIA card, PL7 V3.4 or later, and a software patch available in October, 1999.
