Issue:
Definition of differences between the available QED switchboard offering.

Product Line:
QED switchboards

Environment:
Selection/specification

Resolution:
QED S is the Speed D or stock switchboard. The QED S offer attempts to provide designs and features that can be offered in shorter lead times than compared to custom offers like what is available in QED 2. The product conforms to UL 891.
QED 2 is the standard switchboard utilizing with molded case breakers listed under UL 489. It is common to have an I-Line distribution section within the QED 2 design. The QED 2 switchboard offers both a variety of designs and features that often extend the price and lead time of the product. The standard designs conform to UL 891 however certain custom features may not be offered with UL labeling. The product is offered standard with Front Access only, however, Side and Rear access is offered as an option.
QED 3 & 4 are obsolete and replaced by QED 6.
QED 6 is a  Rear Connected drawout switchboard. This design is built similarly to our LV Metal Enclosed Drawout Switchgear offer, however, QED 6 conforms to UL 891 and thus can include Molded Case Circuit breakers conforming to UL 489. There may be custom features that are not offered as UL listed. QED 6 requires Rear A cess always because it is Rear connected.
