Does the unit produce significant amount of harmonics that could damage output wiring on startup.

Difference with shorting contactor and without shorting contactor wiring is burning up over period of time and they thought this may be an issue

Causes and Fixes

The harmonics level at the output of ATS is very low and only during the acceleration. May be the problem come from the section of your wire or the tightening.
