What format SSL cert can I add to StruxureWare Data Center Expert for client and web communications?
Issue:
StruxureWare Data Center Expert requires a .PEM file when importing a cert.

Product Line:
StruxureWare Data Center Expert (DCE)

Environment:
Any version.

Cause:
Proper SSL configuration

Resolution:

StruxureWare Data Center Expert (DCE) has the option for a customer to import an SSL certificate for use when launching to the server. The cert must be added to DCE as a .PEM file or you can open the ,PEM file and copy and paste the data into the import certificate dialog box. Please be sure to copy all information between:
-----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----
and
-----END CERTIFICATE-----
Please also be sure not to include any lines outside of this area including any extra spaces.

You can not add a .CRT file to DCE.
You can not add a chain cert as a single .PEM file.
