What are the main differences between feeder and motor mode?
In feeder mode scaling is calculated from the CT nominal while in Motor mode the scaling is calculated from the motor nominal (Imot). Some protection functions will appear or disappear depending on mode selection, e.g. auto recloser is shown only in feeder mode, motor start-up supervision and other typical motor protection functions only in motor mode. Many of the protection functions like overcurrent will be identical except for the fact that scaling depends on mode.
