How does the 9050JCK5x repeat cycle timer work?
 Issue:
Customer is trying to wire the 9050JCK59 and having problems understanding how this repeat cycle timer works.

Product line:
Relays and Timers

Environment:
Class 9050 Type JCK5*

Cause:
No wiring listed in the catalog

Resolution:
9050JCK59 is a repeat cycle, off timer.  This means with voltage applied to the coil terminals, #2 and #7 it starts the timing sequence and keeps repeating the timer cycle until power is removed.  Being a Repeat Cycle - Off, the Off time is first and On time is second.

This has two timer adjustment dials for On time and Off times which are independent of each other.  The timing range depends on the part number ordered.  See the attached chart and wiring diagram.

Terminals 2 and 7 are for the coil voltage
Terminals 1 and 8 are common.
Terminals 1 to 4 and 8 to 5 are normally closed (in de-energized state)
Terminals 1 to 3 and 8 to 6 are normally open (in de-energized state)
