Will the 1200 A QMB368W fit in any of the old QMB panels or switchboards?

Resolution:
No. The QMB368W will only fit in the current series switchboards only that are 42" or 48" wide. Not for use in a 36" wide QMB distribution section. It is not designed for use in the QMB panels at all.
The way to tell if it is an older style switchboard is by the name plate data, Series 1 - 4, or series D2 will not accept the switch. If you do not have that information, check the busbars. If the bus bars are round, flat, or look like railroad tracks, they will not accept the switch.
