Power Monitoring Expert (PME) web page shows "Server Error in '/ION' Application" when selecting the Diagrams tab.

Issue
The following error occurs when selecting the Diagrams tab of the PME web page:

Server Error in '/ION Application.
Runtime Error
Description: An exception occurred while processing your request. Additionally, another exception occurred while executing the custom error page for the first exception.
The request has been terminated.

Cause
The Windows Application Log revealed that there is a second file (WebReach-new) in the WebReach folder:

<Data>E:\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\Power Monitoring Expert DC Ed\system\WebReach\</Data>
<Data>CHMGW9MN17</Data>
<Data>
</Data>
<Data>7024</Data>
<Data>w3wp.exe</Data>
<Data>NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM</Data>
<Data>ConfigurationErrorsException</Data>
<Data>Could not load file or assembly 'WebReach-new' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)
at System.Web.Configuration.CompilationSection.LoadAssemblyHelper(String assemblyName, Boolean starDirective)


Resolution
The second file with the prefix WebReach needs to be moved to another folder.

  1. Navigate to E:\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\Power Monitoring Expert DC Ed\system\WebReach\
  2. Move the file called WebReach-new.dll to another folder.
  3. Refresh the Web Applications and the Diagrams should now be accessible.
