Video: Installing neutral bonding screw in low amp QO and Homeline load centers

Issue:
How does the neutral get bonded to the enclosure, for Service Entrance Applications, in a Low Amp (100A and 125A) QO or Homeline load center?

Product Line:
QO and Homeline load centers

Resolution:
NOTE: All QO and Homeline Main Breaker load centers that are marked "Suitable for Use as Service Equipment" will come from the factory with a green neutral bonding screw, to be installed when the load center is used in a service entrance application. The Main Lug load centers that are marked "Suitable for Use as Service Equipment" will NOT come with a bonding screw, because they must first be converted to a Main Breaker panel to be used for Service Equipment. But when a QOM1 or QOM2 Main Breaker Kit is ordered for converting the Main Lug to a Main Breaker load center, a bonding screw will be included with the QOM1 or QOM2 Kit.

Refer to the wiring diagram label of each load center. The label will be located on the interior sidewall of the enclosure. The wiring schematic will state "Box bonding when required" and indicate the location on the main neutral assembly of where to install the green bonding screw. The green bonding screw is a thread forming (or self-tapping) screw and will require a small amount of force to get the screw started in the hole of the enclosure.
