TOP FEEDING:

ALL of the Canadian, NEMA 1 load centers come with the main breaker or main lugs located at the top of the load center interior and can be top fed as standard.


BOTTOM FEEDING:
NOTE: BOTTOM FEEDING OF THESE LOAD CENTERS WILL BE COMPLETELY DEPENDENT ON LOCAL CODE AUTHORITY ACCEPTANCE BEFORE INSTALLATION.
THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE CQO OR QO GENERATOR PANELS


1) For ALL Canadian, single phase, QO, CQO, or Homeline, main lug, NEMA 1 load centers:
The QO1L30S, QO2L30SC, QO2L70S, and CHOM24L70F/S could possibly be rotated 180 degrees along with the cover IF local code authority accepted.

For the QO4L100S, QO6L100S/F, QO8L100S/F, CHOM612L100F/S and CHOM48L125GC, the wires could enter the bottom endwall and go straight up into the main lugs OR if the local code authority allowed, the load center and cover could be rotated 180 degrees.

ALL the prefix CQO and CHOM main lug load centers can be bottom fed by rotating the complete load center and cover 180 degrees. This will NOT cause the labeling to be upside down. It will just start the circuit counting at the bottom of the cover where the mains are located, but it will read appropriately.

2) For ALL Canadian, single phase, QO, CQO, or Homeline, main breaker, NEMA 1 load centers:
The CQO and CHOM main breaker load centers CANNOT be bottom fed as standard due to the required CSA main service barrier. If the local CSA code authority would allow a bottom fed installation, it will require the COMPLETE load center and cover to be rotated 180 degrees. This will place the mains area at the bottom of the load center and will NOT cause the labeling to be upside down, it will just start the circuit counting at the bottom of the cover where the mains are located, but it will read appropriately. The exception will be the service barrier label, which will be upside down, but the service barrier will still prevent load wires from exiting through the mains area.
