What could happen if a transformer has unbalanced loads?

Resolution:
The following can happen:
- The phases carrying more load is overheated and insulation can get affected and short circuit can occur.
- The above phase may get tripped by safety devices.
- The neutral wire will carry the unbalanced current and get overheated.
- Single phasing may occur.
