Description: This article describes how to download logic in SCADAPack Workbench CAM5 for E-series devices using the serial port.
Hint: It is recommended to use:
Schneider Serial Cable: TBUM297217
Schneider RS232 to USB converter: TSXCUSB232
To download logic in SCADAPack workbench using a serial port you first shall configure the serial port used as follows:
1- Open your configuration file using SCADAPack E Configurator
2- Click on Ports to configure the serial port used for downloading the logic as shown below:
3- The port configuration would be as follows:
Port Function: ISaGRAF
Port Mode: RS232(RTS Off)
Port Baud rate and Data Mode shall be the same as in SCADAPack Workbench and the computer
4- After saving and downloading the configuration file to the RTU it is recommended to read the configuration file from the RTU to make sure that the modification made has been downloaded to the RTU.
5- Make sure that the COM port settings are the same in the SCADAPack Workbench and computer as shown below:
