Installing Class R Fuse Kits into Series F Safety Switches

Resolution:
NOTE: The Class R fuse kits are design to be installed in the switches to REJECT all But Class R fuses. The Kit contains 3 Fuse Adapters, one per pole of a 3-pole switch
The Class R Fuse Kits RFK03H and RFK06H are ONLY designed to be used with the appropriate 30amp and 60amp Series F Safety Switches.

This video is ONLY a supplement to the INSTRUCTIONS that come with the kit. PLEASE Make sure to read the instructions, along with ALL the SAFETY information BEFORE working on any electrical equipment.

Also, follow ALL the steps in the instructions.(See below attached the kit instructions)

The equipment must be installed and serviced only by qualified electrical personnel.

Make sure to turn OFF ALL Power supplying the equipment and verify the power is OFF using a properly rated voltage sensing device, BEFORE working on or with electrical equipment.

Danger label

CAUTION: TURN OFF AND DISCONNECT POWER AHEAD OF SWITCH BEFORE INSTALLING FUSE ADAPTERS.
DO NOT USE RENEWABLE LINK FUSES IN FUSED SWITCHES.

Once all Safety steps are followed, begin the kit installation by following the steps in the instructions.
1) Fuse adaptor goes on the LOAD BASE ONLY. Each fuse has a rejection provisions on one end ONLY. Blades on adapters fit into slots in molded base near fuse clip.(SEE VISUAL IN INSTRUCTIONS)
2) Push adapters firmly into slots in base with barbs going into slots in either side of fuse clip. make sure barbs on adapter snap under fuse clip so that adapter cannot be removed.
