What does it mean when an Altivar 66 display shows the image of a keypad and a drive with a line between the two and an ``X`` across the line?
Issue:
ATV66 display shows the image of a keypad and a drive with a line between the two and an ``X`` across the line.
Product Line:
ATV66
Environment:
All series
Cause:
N/A
Resolution:
This indicates a link fault or keypad link fault (not to be confused with a serial communication link fault). This means communication between the keypad and the control board has been interrupted.
It may be the keypad is mis-seated, there is a loose keypad cable (if applicable), the control board of keypad has malfunctioned, or there is a power board issue. Additionally, users should check the amount of loading on the drive`s power supplies (e.g., option boards, logic inputs, analog & logic outputs, etc) to make sure it is not overloaded.
Each of these should be checked in turn to isolate.
