Resolution:
One contact set of the DPDT switch actuates when the lever arm moves CCW, returning to rest when the lever returns to the neutral or center position. The other set actuates independently when the arm moves CW, returning to rest when the arm returns to the center position . This switch could be located in the middle of a machine to sense movement left or right of center to apply a process correction, such as centering a conveyor belt with automatic adjustment.
