If there is a need to replace an NOE module with the same model number but not making any configuration changes, can it simply be hot swapped?

If simply replacing the hardware and keeping all addressing/configuration parameters the same it can be hot swapped. This means that the PLC can remain running uninterrupted. Once the new NOE is in place and the cable is attached it will assume the configuration information provided by the M340. You will now have an Ip address on your network that has switched MAC addresses. This may or may not raise a flag on your network depending specifically on your installation. This Applies to the BMXNOE0110 as well.
