- For NEMA 1 covers, it is possible to overspray the factory pre-painted coat so that warranty is not affected. Painting for UL-listed products follows a Coating process to provide corrosion resistance, which consists of UL-listed painting with an electro-coat system. Standard Painting from plants is ANSI 61 or ANSI 49. Warranty may be compromised if the structure or frame is overpainted.
- For NEMA Type 3R interior front covers, it is possible to overspray the factory pre-painted coat so that warranty is not affected. Warranty may be compromised if overspray enclosure Type 3R, frame, or structure since it may affect performance due to premature rust. For special painting on NEMA type 3R enclosure and frame or internal metal structure, it is recommended to contact Local Schneider Electric Office for custom paint to meet the process.
