Automation servers

SpaceLogic automation servers are customizable and flexible. From an all-in-one server or controller, stand-alone servers, or an input/output (I/O) module system controllers, get key functionality at the edge level: control logic, trend logging, alarm supervision, and support communication as well as connectivity to I/O and field buses.

Room controllers

SpaceLogic room controllers provide flexibility and reliability. Capture valuable data with an IoT hub at the room level and manage lighting, blinds, and temperature, get insights on real-time occupancy, people count, optimize space use, enable occupant control, and more. Achieve the tightest room control with the fewest devices.

User interfaces

SpaceLogic user human machine interfaces (HMIs) provide convenient access and control of EcoStruxure building management systems. Simple to use and versatile with crystal clear displays and graphics, these dedicated tools streamline BMS local operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting without the need for a PC.

I/O expansion modules

SpaceLogic I/O expansion modules are native building blocks providing functionality and reliability in your building management system. Models are available with different I/O point counts and types to customize your specific application need using SpaceLogic servers or controllers, or third-party systems.

1. What is included in a building management system?

A building management system is comprised of software and a collection of hardware, such as automation servers, room controllers, plant room controllers, sensors, and human machine interfaces (HMIs). EcoStruxure Building Operation, our premier building management system, is powered by our software and industry-leading SpaceLogic connected devices.

2. What is the purpose of a building management system?

A building management system is used to control and monitor building operations in one central location. This includes heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), lighting, power systems, fire protection, and security systems. With an intuitive user interface, it can also make data much easier for building/facility managers and owners much easier to understand and act on.

3. What is a smart building management system?

A smart building management system is a platform for integrating building, business, device IoT data and segment-specific specialty systems such as air quality monitoring for hospitals, or room booking systems for hotels. The ultimate purpose of a BMS is to extract value from that data to operate and maintain building systems safely, reliably, and efficiently while maximizing the productivity and well-being of its occupants. Next-generation systems are far broader in scope and capabilities than traditional BMS. They are also easier to use, program, scale, and update. A modern, next-generation BMS implementation spans from device sensors to building controllers (i.e. the edge) to the cloud with apps and services. Accessible from anywhere, next-generation systems enable knowledge reporting, application of analytics/AI, predictive maintenance, and self-diagnosing.
